Fugitive is a new Crossover Thrash group from Texas featuring guitarists Blake Ibanez (Power Trip) and Victor Gutierrez (Impalers), vocalist Seth Gilmore (Skourge), bassist Andy Messer (ANS, Stymie), and drummer Lincoln Mullins (Creeping Death).
4 songs (and a Bathory cover) of familiar riffing brought to you by Blake Ibanez, so it has a natural Power Trip feel to it but with a bit of a gruffer presence and overall tonal delivery. The vocals have a cool Obituary/Asphyx vibe to them which give them a character and personality unto themselves, helping differentiate them from the underlying Power Trip musical influence.
Good to hear Blake riffing again, and even better so with some other incredible Texas musical talents. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more from this.
